Goal
To create a warm, professional, and meaningful award system that reflected the compassion, teamwork, and behind-the-scenes service these employees provide to patients, families, visitors, and coworkers.
Design Solution
The visual direction centers on the bee as a symbol of dedication, service, and quiet impact. I paired it with soft watercolor florals, honeycomb patterns, warm gold accents, and deep green typography, layered onto Henry Mayo's established brand presence. This gave the award a friendly, compassionate tone while still feeling polished enough for a formal hospital recognition program, with the bee motif carried consistently across every piece, from the certificate and brochure to the physical trophy.

The certificate was designed to feel prestigious and display worthy. The brochure was structured to clearly explain the award, guide nominators through the process, and leave space for personal recognition stories. The trophy concept gave recipients a lasting physical symbol of appreciation.
Deliverables
I created a complete design system for The BEE Award program, giving the Patient Experience team a polished, consistent way to promote the program, collect nominations, recognize monthly recipients, and celebrate staff.
• Custom visual identity for The BEE Award, including a custom emblem and icon system
• Professional award certificate template
• Tri-fold nomination brochure with front-and-back nomination form
• Acrylic trophy concept and mockup
• Print-ready files for ongoing monthly recognition use
